About me...

CREATOR OF strength+flow online flow workout program.
I'm a mindful movement coach & fitness trainer who helps people connect to their bodies with intentional movement to optimize any goal they set for themselves in body, mind, & soul. I'm located in Los Angeles, California & have been training clients since 2007.

I believe the body-mind-soul connection is one powerful unit & if we can connect all 3, we are home & whole...
Free to be as strong, joyful, peaceful, warrior-like, secure, sexy, silly, playful, or any feeling we desire.
We can access all the feels & be whatever we choose to be whenever we want.

So why start with the body?
The body is our outermost layer, the physical. Sometimes we have to work from the outside-in, in order to live from the inside out.


Some titles I've been given depending on the job I'm hired for are:
Fitness Trainer, Movement Coach, Functional Trainer, Flow Instructor, Sports Performance Coach, & Fitness Model...

As a kid I played every sport available and even got my own gym membership at the age of 13. My parents would drop me off and I'd pull out the latest fitness magazine workouts and get my pump on at the gym, ha ha. The sports I focused on were swimming (competitive for 7 years) & golf (played NCAA Division-1 at Baylor University).

Unfortunately I lost both of my parents to cancer (2001 & 2005), but it taught me a lot of life lessons of what's important in life... 
Love of Body, Mind, & Soul.
So I made my love of fitness a reality and became a personal trainer to energize and “awesome”-ize others. Yes, it sucks that I lost both my parents to cancer but loss is part of all of our stories; it led me to find Compassion and Vulnerability to be the characteristics I value most & I'm continually understanding. I don't always say what people want to hear but I always speak my truth.


I'm constantly curious so I do continued education yearly to acquire a deeper understanding of movement and acquire new certifications. The amazing thing is that the more that I learn, the more I realize that almost everything works when the right intention is behind the movement.

My movement style is STRENGTH AT EVERY ANGLE...
influenced by  Corrective Movement, Animal Flow, Yoga, Suspension Training, Calisthenics, Primal Movement and other Bodyweight training practices. I also love using weighted modalities like Kettlebells, Dumbbells, Clubs, Bulgarian bags, Medicine balls, and anything else that challenges my body to move through space.

​Overall, Connection to the body's Kinetic Energy & Breath to create Flow & have Fun is my main focus regardless of whatever movement or exercise I engage in. With that I get all the benefits - Strength, Mobility, Cardio, Breathwork, Coordination, Playfulness, Mind-Body Connection, and ultimately a deeper connection with Myself that feels in Tune... Movement Meditation that is Fun!

I've taught a variety of clients and classes of every age and every goal... from athletes, actors, fitness enthusiasts (young, middle-aged, retirees), to post-injury, each person is unique from the anatomy of their body to the energy of their mental state, yet the fundamentals stay consistent. And hey a girl's gotta travel sometimes, so I also teach at workshops, events, and private retreats around the world.


Other things I do...
Every year I always get itches to do these things (some a lot, some I wish more often, some I'm pretty good at, some I'm eh at) : hiking, biking, snowboarding, surfing, golfing, swimming, stand up paddle boarding, rock climbing, dance classing, rollerblading, skateboarding, always beaching, and a few other -ings.

Aside from the realm of fitness, I'm also a writer. I believe all the knowledge we accumulate in life makes us better at everything else we do, especially our passions. Writing has improved my timing and flow undulation of words in how I communicate. I've contributed fitness/wellness articles and I've also written over 10 feature scripts and 2 web series, most being comedy, I have a funny bone. Sometimes I write poetry but I rarely share it, that's just for me for now.

I'm also a fitness model and have worked for a variety of major brands... including Athleta, Beats by Dre, Reebok, Bowflex, Total Gym, Mercedes Benz, Adidas, Sports Authority, Srixon Golf, and more. 
​I'm grateful for the perspective it's given me to see how people connect to different styles of wellness and lifestyle. Plus it’s really fun to move all day, hopefully inspire more people, and connect with others in the same industry.
